The Building Innovation Awards 2022 celebrated outstanding innovative practices throughout the construction industry
Firms of all sizes from across the country were in attendance at this year’s Building Innovation Awards 2022, including Re-flow, represented by Ashley Wing and Josh Sims. The ceremony was a celebration of outstanding innovative practices from throughout the construction industry.
The event began with a talk from Maria Coulter, managing director of Construction Coach. She spoke on the challenges faced by women in the construction industry, as well as sustainable business development and growth.
The Riff Raff Society, a Manchester-based charity that work with the local community to help fund life-changing projects for those in need, also spoke of a local woman whose life had been drastically affected by Motor Neuron Disease – Nicole. Using the event as a platform to secure vital funds to support Nicole’s battle against the condition, they raised a staggering £2,500 by the end of the night.
Leading industry pioneers were recognised for their hard work
Attendees had the opportunity to network with industry professionals over dinner followed by a comedy set from Justin Moorhouse before the awards ceremony commenced.
A total of twenty-two awards were given out throughout the night. These celebrated all things related to innovation, spanning a wide range of categories including Most Innovative On-Site Monitoring Tool, Best Use of Drones in a Construction Project, Most Innovative New Product for both software and hardware as well as Most Innovative SME.
Re-flow presented the award for Most Innovative SME
The Re-flow team had the honour of sponsoring and delivering the award for the most innovative SME.
Several nominees competed for the award that night, including Alternative Heat and Plan A Consultants. The award went to TrustMgt, a leading open space management company based in Cheshire.
Founded in 2013, the business provides specialist services for developers, private asset owners and landlords, encompassing all aspects of open space management and development.
The award was presented by Re-flow’s own Ashley Wing, Head of Sales and Marketing.
The event ended on a memorable and successful close in the form of karaoke, lasting into the early hours!
