Caddick Construction has appointed Richard Greenwood to assist with the £340m EN:Procure Affordable and Mixed Tenure New Building Housing Framework for Yorkshire and Humber
In a first for the company, Caddick moves into the residential sector with the £340m EN framework. To assist the framework, Richard Greenwood has been appointed as residential development manager.
Greenwood will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s foothold in the housing sector.
The EN framework will offer a supply chain of construction companies delivering site preparation, remediation, infrastructure works, design, new build construction, refurbishment and the development of a variety of properties.
Greenwood brings over 33 years of construction experience, with 23 of those years in the housing sector, latterly with Kier Living and as a board director at Southdale Ltd.
As well as delivering mixed-tenure open market sales and affordable homes, his experience includes land acquisition, legals and planning, project management and quantity surveying.
Richard Greenwood said: “The construction market focus has moved to beds and sheds and with Caddick’s extensive experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, design and build, it was a logical move to expand into the residential sector.
“Securing a place on this £340m framework is fantastic and we look forward to working with Efficiency North and its partners to deliver high-quality social housing and regenerate local communities across the region.”

Caddick Construction completed its 2018/19 financial year in a strong position, delivering award-winning projects such as the £42m Emerald Headingley Stadium.
