Further strengthening Galliford Try’s independence
Peter Ventress, chair of Galliford Try, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Sally to Galliford Try as a Non-executive Director.
“Sally’s appointment will further strengthen our independence and the experience of the Board as well as plan for the role of Chair of the Remuneration Committee. The Board looks forward to Sally establishing herself in the role and to benefiting from her extensive people experience.
“The Group intends that Sally will, following a period of 12 months’ transition, assume the role of Chair of the Remuneration Committee on the current Chair (Terry Miller) stepping down.”
Sally’s appointment as non-executive director follows the recent appointment of Alison Wood, also as non-executive director, further strengthening the diversity of the Board of Galliford Try Holdings plc.
