SNC Lavalin has appointed Joe St. Julian, the former principal vice-president, and general manager at Bechtel, as the new president of nuclear

Joe St. Julian brings 30 years of senior leadership experience, and has a background in construction, project controls, project management, strategic planning and commercial management in the nuclear sector.

Mr. St. Julian brings 30 years of senior leadership experience with a diverse background in construction, project controls, project management, strategic planning and commercial management in the Nuclear sector.

In addition to this, St. Julian also has experience within the oil and gas, power, civil and government sectors.

From March 21, St. Julian will begin working through a planned succession and detailed handover process with Sandy Taylor, the current President, who will be retiring in 2022.

Based in Houston, Texas, St. Julian will report to Ian L. Edwards, President and CEO, and join the Executive Committee.

As the president of nuclear, Joe will be responsible for continuing the successful expansion of the nuclear business in the U.S. and around the world.
