Tilbury Douglas has appointed two new regional managing directors, covering the Northern and Central regions of the UK construction firm
John Gittins will be promoted to regional managing director for the Northern Region (covering Scotland, Yorkshire and the North East) and Simon Butler will be promoted to regional managing director for the Central region (covering the Midlands and South Wales).
Both roles will report to Craig Tatton, managing director for UK Building.
Interserve rebranding
Tilbury Douglas Construction, previously Interserve, rebranded its company earlier in 2021.
The rebrand reflects a new identity after the sale of Interserve’s support services and learning and healthcare businesses last year.
In 2020, the company won over 84 projects totalling £465m, including 28 healthcare projects and 16 new school projects, featuring nine SEND (Special Educational Needs) schools.
This year Tilbury Douglas expects to generate around £500m of revenue from a range of projects across England, Wales and Scotland.
Commenting on the changes Craig Tatton, managing director for UK Building at Tilbury Douglas, said: “I am delighted to announce the promotion of John and Simon to their respective positions as managing directors for our Northern and Central regions.
“The new positions are recognition of their team’s hard work in delivering significant revenues and new business across their respective areas.
“I wish John and Simon the very best in their new roles.”
