Tilbury Douglas's Midlands expansion

Tilbury Douglas has continued its planned expansion of the regional building division with the appointments of Dave Tighe as regional director for the Midlands and Chris Edmonds

As part of Tilbury Douglas’s Midlands expansion, Dave Tighe has been promoted to regional director for the Midlands, with Chris Edmonds selected for the role of regional operations director for South Wales.

Dave will be joined by Chris Loach in the East Midlands

With nearly 40 years of construction industry experience, Dave has been with Tilbury Douglas for eight years, most recently as regional operations director for the Midlands. He previously spent fourteen years at Balfour Beatty.

He has extensive knowledge of working across all disciplines, as well as experience in dealing with customers and the supply chain.

To support Dave in his new wider role, Chris Loach will be focusing on the East Midlands building business. This is the first step in the planned growth of the building division within the East and West Midlands regions.

With sixteen years of experience at Tilbury Douglas, Chris Edmonds has progressed to senior roles, most recently leading the £130m refurbishment of Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.

The key regional appointments will boost Tilbury Douglas’s presence in the Midlands and Wales

Simon Butler, managing director building central at Tilbury Douglas, said on the appointments and Tilbury Douglas’s regional building growth: “As a standalone major contractor, we have a strong track record in delivering both regionally and nationally for our customers across a wide variety of sectors. I am pleased to announce these key regional appointments, as these will further help with our commitment to continue to go above and beyond for our customers.”
