Premier Modular is set to deliver modular office accommodation and welfare facilities for Lewisham Gateway phase 2, a £197m regeneration project in London

Balfour Beatty is constructing four mixed-use buildings including 530 homes for rent which will be owned and operated by Get Living.

Premier’s modular office accommodation is being installed on a gantry to maximise space on site and will be in use for the next two years.

The developer, Lewisham Gateway Developments is a subsidiary of Muse Developments.

The overall scheme will create up to 900 new homes and valuable urban spaces for the local community.

Lewisham Gateway has already delivered 362 new homes, alongside new shops and restaurants, a public park with children’s play space and access to the rivers.

It has also provided major infrastructure improvements which include the removal of the Lewisham Northern Roundabout and the implementation of a new highways system.

Contribution to the regeneration

Graham Hill, managing director of Balfour Beatty, said: “Our ability to offer a fully integrated solution for our customers, from ground engineering expertise and M&E capabilities through to main works construction will significantly contribute to the regeneration of Lewisham Gateway, leaving a lasting-legacy for years to come.

“All works will be delivered strictly adhering to Balfour Beatty’s Covid-19 Site Operating Procedures, which are fully aligned to the latest UK Government guidelines to ensure the continued health, safety and wellbeing of all those who work for and with the company.”
