The modular towers at 101 George Street, Croyden is a Greystar build to rent scheme.

It will comprise of two towers of 37 and 44 stories, containing 546 apartments and on completion will hold the title for the first and second tallest modular buildings in the world.

Situated in what is known as London’s “Silicon Valley” due to the amount of growing tech and start-up companies in the area, the towers will be homed in a vibrant and attractive space for young professionals and families.

Developers working on the build, Tide Construction and their associate company, Vision Modular Systems will construct the modules in a controlled factory environment in Bedford.

By using modular construction methods, it is believed the build will produce 80% less waste and means fewer workers are needed onsite.

The development is expected to span a 24-month period and expects residents to move in at the start of 2020.
