Paul Ellenor has been appointed as the new regional director of Tilbury Douglas in Yorkshire and the North East
As part of Paul’s wider role as regional director, he will extend his regional leadership to encompass the North East in addition to his current responsibility for Yorkshire.
The new regional director of Tilbury Douglas will oversee a variety of ongoing projects
Tilbury Douglas projects upcoming in the Northeast include a new building for Leeds Beckett University Law School.
The new building, to be built west of Queen Square House, will deliver enhanced dedicated teaching, research, and specialist facilities for students and staff and will establish an academic ‘home’ for Leeds Law School.
Another ongoing project in Durham is a new 2-storey Durham Investigative Hub, which when complete will provide modern accommodation and office space, alongside 48 modern cells, interview rooms, and crime scene investigation facilities.
Paul has over thirty years of experience in construction, specifically in the North East
Having started his career with the business 35 years ago as an apprentice, working his way up to leadership roles, with the majority of that time spent in the North East, Paul Ellenor has extensive experience of the team, market, customers and supply chain.
To support Paul in his new wider role, Shaun Pearson has been appointed as operations director for Yorkshire and North East.
John Gittins, managing director Building North at Tilbury Douglas, said: “Having recently announced our re-establishment as a standalone major contractor, we are committed to becoming the most customer-focused and productive contractor in the UK. I am pleased to announce these two key appointments for the Yorkshire and the North East region – this will help with the continued growth of Tilbury Douglas.”
