Doug Jones has been appointed as land and planning director for Rangeford Villages, the retirement village specialist
As the new land and planning director for Rangeford, Doug Jones will report to the newly appointed managing director for Rangeford Developments, Ryan Fairbairn.
Jones has over 30 years of experience in the later living sector
In previous roles, Jones specialised in identifying, acquiring, and obtaining planning consent for later living schemes.
He has worked with key sector players such as Pegasus, Churchill, and Castleoak Care Development. During this time, Jones acquired more than 80 sites with a combined gross development value of £1bn.
Jones’ previous experience will prove valuable in his new role, where he will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and purchasing new land, as well as ensuring all the necessary planning processes and approvals are in place.
