Mick George discuss their new contract with Andusia Recovered Fuels Ltd, delivering waste to plants to generate energy and avoid UK landfill
Andusia Recovered Fuels is pleased to announce it has recently signed a new contract with RDF producer, Mick George.
Mick George Ltd is one of the UKs leading suppliers of cost-effective waste management solutions to the commercial, trade and residential markets, with landfill sites, waste transfer stations and quarries across the country.
Andusia and Mick George have formed a partnership in order to supply RDF waste material to EfW plants in Europe. The waste will be recovered and used to create energy and electricity, therefore avoiding UK landfill.
Neil Johnson, Technical Director at Mick George Ltd commented: ‘’As a business we are continually investing in sustainable mechanisms to achieve greater levels of landfill diversion. The partnership that we have formed with Andusia certainly aligns with that target and is another example of the forward strides that the business is making in the Waste Management sector.’’
The contract is for 20,000 tonnes annually being sent to plants in the Netherlands and Norway.
Mark Terrell, Director at Andusia said, “We are very excited to be joining forces with Mick George. We are always looking for reliable and dependable waste suppliers, and this is exactly what we have found.”
