Women in Planning opens new Central Scotland Branch

Women in Planning has announced it is launching a new Central Scotland branch in response to growing interest within Edinburgh

The existing Glasgow Branch will expand to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas, whilst continuing to serve Glasgow.

Planning professionals in Scotland

Rachel Mushet, planner at Montagu Evans and co-chair of the new Branch Committee states:

“To ensure that our Branch continues to bring professionals together, we have made the decision to expand our geographical area and our name will soon be changing to become the Women in Planning Central Scotland Branch.

“We hope that this will clearly show that all interested planning professionals in the central belt of Scotland are welcome to join.”

Diverse, equitable and inclusive industry

Women in Planning is a free independent network with the aim of promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive planning industry.
