The 2019 most considerate construction companies and suppliers across the UK and Ireland have been honoured at the CCS’s 2019 National Company and Supplier Awards.
The National Company and Supplier Awards recognise the construction companies and suppliers which have achieved the uppermost performance against the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s (CCS) Code of Considerate Practice.
The code monitors how considerate those registered with the scheme are towards their local community, the environment and the workforce.
Guests from across the UK and Ireland attended the award ceremonies held on 31 October and 1 November at the Rosewood London in Holborn.
This year’s National Company and Supplier Awards were the biggest-ever with the highest number of awards and the largest number of attendees. The CCS presented 178 awards from a total of over 725 eligible companies and suppliers, which also included 84 Bronze, 44 Silver and 30 Gold awards, as well as 15 Most Considerate Runners-Up awards.

Amanda Long, chief executive of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, said: “This is my first CCS Awards since I have been in post, and I am immensely proud of the commitment that each award-winning company and supplier has made in striving for and achieving higher standards of considerate construction.
“On behalf of all the team at the CCS, I would like to offer my congratulations to every winner. It is a really significant achievement to be recognised with a Considerate Constructors Scheme National Award, as each winning company and supplier has faced incredibly tough competition across our industry.
“These awards demonstrate how it is possible to make considerate construction at the very heart of construction companies and suppliers across the UK and Ireland.”
