Kier wins place on £300m connected contractor framework

Kier has been appointed to Lot 2 of the connected contractor framework to deliver new build accommodation for rent

The lot is for projects with a value of more than £10m and overall the connected contractor framework has a value of up to £300m over the next four years

This latest appointment for Kier follows on from its appointment to Lot 3 of the £1.2bn Islington new build construction framework which mainly focuses on residential mixed tenure new build projects and will predominantly cover the London boroughs of Islington, Hackney and Camden.

This framework will mainly focus on new build accommodation for private rent, private sale, intermediate, shared ownership and affordable rent through.

Connected also delivers care schemes, regeneration schemes plus community, retail and commercial buildings.

The Connected Partnership

The framework is owned by The Connected Partnership which is a leading consortium of Registered Providers (RPs) namely Octavia Housing as lead RP, Origin Housing and Shepherds Bush Housing Group) working predominantly in North and West London and the home counties.

A significant appointment for the residential sector
