Kier has completed construction work on the new headquarters for Ecclesiastical Insurance Group based at Gloucester Business Park in Brockworth
This significant milestone has seen the new headquarters handed over to Ecclesiastical by site owners, Arlington.
The headquarters was constructed by Kier and has created a modern and flexible working environment for all of the firm’s Gloucester-based employees, as well as providing 500 parking spaces for employees and visitors.
Kier has extensive experience of providing working environments which support productivity and working with clients across the UK, it creates a range of office spaces. Most recently, it has started on-site to deliver a £7m hybrid scheme to deliver office and workshop space in Ebbw Vale in Wales.
Working in line with Covid-19 safety guidance
Andy Bolas, operations director at Kier, said: “We have a longstanding relationship with Arlington and, over the last 34 years, we have successfully delivered 45 projects across various business parks in Oxford, Birmingham and Gloucester.
“It has been a pleasure working with Ecclesiastical and I hope they will enjoy their new modern and spacious working environment.
“Many thanks to the team, who have worked tirelessly and in line with the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) guidance throughout Covid-19 to hand this project back to Arlington Properties.”
The internal fit-out will commence at the end of July and the building due to be completed by the end of the year.
