Hayfield has acquired a 10-acre site in Adderbury, North Oxfordshire, to deliver 40 eco-efficient executive homes worth £20m

The plans for the £20m green development feature a range of maisonettes, bungalows, and two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom executive houses.

The eco-efficient homes will include air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, electric vehicle fast-charging points and ultra-fast broadband.

35% of the properties will be designated for affordable housing and all 40 homes will have designated parking, visitor parking will also be widely available.

‘Largest house in our design portfolio’

Andy Morris, managing director of Hayfield, the WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year, said: “The first site Hayfield acquired was in Oxfordshire and since then, we have always had a live development in the county.

“With the final purchasers shortly moving into Hayfield Green in West Oxfordshire, the acquisition of this prime site in Adderbury is perfectly timed.

“As a reflection of the desirability of this semi-rural village location, our plans for the scheme include a high proportion of executive homes, including the five-bedroom double-fronted Eaton, which is the largest house in our design portfolio.”

The site has been purchased from private landowner and promoter Hollins Strategic Land, with outline planning consent in place. Pegasus Group has been appointed to prepare a reserved matters application, which will be submitted to Cherwell District Council in the coming weeks.
