ICW Group has launched the ICW Showcase Awards, which will identify and reward excellence in the construction sector
The ICW Showcase Awards is open to all registered ICW builders and developers, and will recognise projects which are managed and run to exceptional standards, and demonstrate high levels of workmanship and site management.
ICW-registered sites will be scored on each site visit when onsite management, build quality, and attention to detail will all be taken into consideration.
Nominations will be put forward for each region by ICW surveyors on a monthly basis with winners announced for each six-month period.
A certificate will be presented to each site that wins an award, culminating in a gala ceremony next year. Winners will be announced on the ICW website and social media and will also benefit from local PR coverage in property publications.
Recognising and acknowledging construction excellence
Aaron McCarten, chief operating officer at ICW Group, commented: “We are delighted to be launching the inaugural ICW Showcase Awards which promise to be an industry highlight. ICW works with some of the best builders and developers in the world and we want to recognise and acknowledge the excellence we see every day on site.
“This is a unique opportunity for them to showcase their work against some of the best in the business and be in with a chance to benefit from some local PR. We will be rigorous in our assessment of the sites.”
There are different categories spread across eight regions in the UK
There are different categories across eight regions in the competition including Small, which covers projects with 1-50 residential units; Medium, which covers projects with between 51- 250 units; Large, which covers projects with more than 250 units; and High Rise, covering major projects with a reinstatement value in excess of £20 million.
Regions include North of England, Midlands, London, South East of England, South West of England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland & Isle of Man.
ICW surveyors will score sites based on surveys and site visits covering all aspects of the construction stage before being judged by the firm’s regional managers.
Nominations may also be made for the ICW House Of the Year Award, as well as an Innovation Award for sites that make the best use of a unique design, the best use of technology, and the best use of modern methods of construction.
