Interserve has been awarded a place on Loughborough University minor works framework worth £8m

Interserve has been granted a place on the minor works framework which covers a range of projects in value bands worth between £150,000 up to £1m.

The university plans to use the framework as a trial with a view to renewing the framework within the first year.

Interserve Construction works for a wide range of universities and colleges and has supported Loughborough University for the past 15 years as a trusted supplier.

During that period Interserve has supported 31 Loughborough University undergraduate placements in its business and assisted in the delivery of lectures and workshops on Building Information Modelling (BIM).

Richard Scarrott, divisional managing director at Interserve Construction, said: “Being included on this is a major success and a great achievement by our team in the East Midlands and enhances our position as a leading construction business in the UK’s higher education sector having delivered major projects for the universities of Hull, Durham, York and Edinburgh.

“Securing these frameworks is a core element of our strategy to develop, improve and maintain critical infrastructure for key customers. We are delighted to be part of this framework partnership with Loughborough University and look forward to working in partnership with the university delivering a range of works within the Framework.”
