SME residential property developer and investor, London Green, has started the redevelopment of neighbouring buildings in the London Borough of Bromley
The combined scheme, with a GDV in excess of £8.5m, is to be known as The Glassworks and will comprise 28 high-end residential apartments with a mixture of sizes and layouts, including duplex units. Many apartments will have private gardens or balconies and a large communal roof terrace will provide further amenity space.
The work will also include new facades for both neighbouring buildings, dramatically improving the external appearance and enhancing the street scene. Practical completion is expected in Q4 2019.
Joe Green, Managing Director of London Green, comments: “This scheme will regenerate two underutilised commercial buildings, providing much-needed residential accommodation, opening up the potential for first time buyers to get on the property ladder, while at the same time contributing to the ongoing regeneration of the area.”
Andrew Caracciolo, head of business development for London Green, adds “We’re delighted to be onsite at The Glassworks and to be track to deliver 265 homes in 2019. We have over 500 further units in the planning system for delivery in 2020 and beyond and are actively looking for further sites.”
