Newmarket Business Park is set for further expansion with developments to Plots 9 & 10’ set to commence in the near future.
Local construction firm Mick George Ltd has been appointed to conduct earthworks at Newmarket Business Park on behalf of Parkway Construction Ltd who are designing and building two industrial units in this £3.9million project.
Totalling some 58,000 sq.ft, the former brownfield site will experience extensive ground modelling works to reduce the level of the site by up to 2.5m, installation of a series of PCC retaining walls to the entire North and West boundaries as well as Remediation, which will facilitate the construction of the two warehouses.
One of the locations has already been pre-let, and will be occupied by Consentino Group, a global, Spanish, family-owned company that produces and distributes high value innovative surfaces for the world of design and architecture.
The scheme is just one of a number of builds currently progressing at the location. A new Wickes Superstore, Oncology Centre, Harley Davidson Showroom, as well as a Costa Coffee and McDonald’s outlets are also under development.
