A new £10.6m repairs, servicing and maintenance framework has been launched to help develop and maintain Nottinghamshire County Council’s property portfolio
The repairs, servicing and maintenance framework has been specifically designed to benefit SMEs and the local economy.
Arc Partnership – the joint venture partnership between Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and Scape Group – has announced a list of 11 businesses across 12 lots who will deliver its new repairs, servicing and maintenance framework over the next three years.
The framework, which forms a part of Arc Partnership’s support for more than 40 local companies across its supply chain network, will deliver specialist property maintenance services across NCC’s wide-ranging property portfolio including the iconic County Hall.
The framework will continue to deliver 24-hour, year-round support for the council, whilst championing the regional economy through the use of local suppliers.
It will deliver an estimated 12,000 planned and reactive repairs every year.
Helping SMEs flourish
Councillor Reg Adair, deputy leader at Nottinghamshire County Council, said: “Public sector infrastructure and property maintenance works, will continue to play an integral role in our plan to stimulate the economic recovery across Nottinghamshire.
“By focusing on the use of local businesses with these maintenance contracts, we intend to provide much needed stability as well as project visibility for a diverse range of SMEs so they can continue to flourish and invest in skills and job creation.
“Arc Partnership is an integral delivery vehicle for the county council that focuses upon delivering value for money, quality of output and customer service excellence.
“We see this framework as a natural continuation of the value that the Arc team brings and we welcome the successful delivery partners within this new framework.”
