Specialist contractor O’Keefe Group has been awarded two new major project contracts with Willmott Dixon and Elkins Construction, worth more than £8m collectively

O’Keefe Group has been awarded a £7.5m contract to deliver ‘The Brooks’, a low carbon modular housing scheme for Elkins Construction and has also secured the Hadlow College project for Willmott Dixon.

The Brooks contract

The Brooks in Greenwich aims to be an efficient low carbon development, working towards the goal of net zero by 2050.

The scheme will provide up to 80 zero-carbon residential units and 58 family homes and incorporates hard and soft landscaping for low-carbon mixed-use development.

The project will also include a retail unit and a communal pocket park and play area for residents.

The scheme has been designed following discussions with council officers and a design review panel.

Hadlow College project

In the Southeast, O’Keefe has also secured the Hadlow College project for Willmott Dixon, worth £600,000.

The Hadlow College contract will provide infrastructure substructure work to Kent’s only specialist land-based college.

O’Keefe managing director, Marc Daly, said: “We are delighted to have secured these noteworthy contracts which demonstrates the broad spectrum of our skills as a specialist contractor.

“We also welcome the confidence our clients have in our business and look forward to further successes as we approach the year end.”
