“Our designs for this special scheme reflect the architectural significance of the traditional houses that line Berry Hill Road, which our zero carbon ready homes will complement beautifully.

“We propose constructing the mixture of 40 single storey and two storey homes in redbrick and complementing stone, to ensure this new development effortlessly blends into its surroundings.”

Plans include several large, five-bedroom double-fronted residences to cater for local demand for well-designed, luxury properties. This includes the Eaton, which at circa 2,500 sq ft, is the largest house in the company’s design portfolio.

All 40 homes will be tenure blind with room dimensions greatly exceeding those typically seen in the market. Every property will come with designated parking and some will benefit from garages. Visitor parking spaces will also be available.

As is typical for Hayfield, the density of the development will be much lower than most new build schemes.
