Keepmoat Homes have proposed to redevelop a brownfield site into a housing development of 140 new affordable homes, in Bristol
The brownfield site, which will be based on Dovercourt Road, Horfield, will feature 76 one and two-bedroom apartments, and 64 houses including two and three-storey homes.
The homes will benefit from improvements to the building fabric to increase energy efficiency, as well as low carbon heating systems.
Climate and ecological emergencies
The development will also provide ecological enhancements to improve nature conservation and biodiversity. This will include retaining, enhancing and managing the woodlands next to the site for wildlife, as well as the provision of new native species-rich hedgerows.
Keepmoat homes will work in partnership with Goram Homes and Bristol City Council and will submit an application for outline planning permission at the beginning of this year.
