Asite has joined Rice Global E&C Forum (RGF) at Rice University in Houston, Texas. The forum focuses solely on the discussion and study of challenges and opportunities facing the contracting side of the engineering and construction (E&C) industry
The partnership comes following the opening of an Asite office in Houston as part of the company’s expansion and continued growth in North America.
Asite is currently undergoing a period of growth in the United States and has expanded both its team and offices over the last year.
Houston is the latest office to open, joining bases in New York and Florida.
On November 11, RGF will be holding their Annual Global Forum during which industry leaders come together to discuss the topics that will move the industry forward.
This year’s event, which will be attended by Asite, focuses on the current Covid-19 pandemic and how it will impact the industry.
As well as an annual event, the forum also holds monthly roundtables during which distinguished international speakers discuss current issues regarding the E&C industry.
The roundtable format allows members to engage in open and vibrant discussions and provides the opportunity to participate first-hand to change in the industry.
Asite CEO Nathan Doughty will be presenting during the January edition, taking place on January 8, 2021.
The RGF has the vision to be the premier venue for discussion of critical issues impacting the future of the global E&C industry.
Come together and face challenges collectively
Gene Brieck, Asite vice president of sales for North America, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to engage with our fellow stakeholders from across the engineering and construction sectors and to join the collaborative community, bringing our own expertise to the discussion.
“During such a turbulent time for our industry, it is important that we come together and face challenges collectively; the Rice Global E&C Forum provides us with the unique opportunity to do just this.
“On a personal note, as an alumnus of Rice University, I am honoured to join such a reputable organisation within the University’s community.”
