Aecom, Mace and WSP have secured places on the new SCF Professional Services framework to shape the procurement of public construction projects

The SCF Professional Services framework will cover the South West, the North West and West Midlands regions.

The public sector framework is a collaboration between Hampshire County Council, Devon County Council and Manchester City Council.

It will allow swift and simple access for all public bodies operating in the South West, South East, North West, and Midlands regions as well as Wales and London.

Two-stage procurement

Building on SCF’s commitment and expertise in two-stage open book procurement and its integrated ‘one team’ approach, the SCF Professional Services framework will shape and support not only the procurement of public construction projects but will help ensure their effective delivery.

This framework complements the SCF construction framework and will allow clients to benefit from single framework procurement as well as driving the values that are important to them, in terms of social value, environmental and local economic priorities in a targeted and measurable way.

Consultants Aecom, Mace and WSP have all demonstrated their capability in two-stage open book procurement and working collaboratively as part of an integrated team.

SCF Group’s deputy lead Jon Williams, said: “SCF is delighted to launch this offer to clients and we trust it will give them rapid access to top consultants to initiate important projects.

“I trust the Professional Services framework will significantly assist the key Government Construction Initiatives to deliver excellent outcomes more swiftly.”
