Planning consultancy Turley announces new partnership with Cambridge-based planning and heritage specialist Beacon Planning Ltd
Turley’s expansion will integrate Beacon into its national network of 13 offices spanning across the UK.
The move will allow clients to maximise new opportunities within the Oxford-Milton Keynes-Cambridge areas and in the wider east of England.
In a bid to strengthen the team further, Planning Director, Sid Hadjioannou is moving from Turley’s London office to join the Cambridge team.
This means that the new, combined team will have 12 chartered planners offering integrated planning and heritage expertise.
Managing director of Turley Dave Trimingham said:
“In Beacon we have found a like-minded organisation packed with ambition and talent. Beacon shares our vision and our core values and brings a team with complementary skills and client base.
“We see this amalgamation as a catalyst for further growth and are immensely excited about developing together, and helping clients deliver their growth ambitions.”
Andy Thompson, director of Beacon said he is looking forward to extend the business by joining forces with Turley: “Beacon was built by the talent, enthusiasm and commitment of our fantastic people and now we are looking forward to taking this next step together and becoming part of Turley.
“Turley is such a well-respected name and its employee-ownership model enables the entire company to share in success. This fits well with how we work and is a logical progression for all ofour team. We can see many benefits for both our staff and clients and are delighted to be joining Turley.”
In the meantime, the company will be known as Beacon, part of Turley, before being fully incorporated into the Turley brand over the next coming months.
