We provide specialist services and software, in conjunction with leading industry experts such as Local Authority Building Control and Easy Price Pro, to make the offsite and onsite processes simpler. Our support includes environmental noise assessments, SAP, Estimating, and construction details, along with acoustic and air tightness testing and consultancy.
We pride ourselves on being an extension to our client’s team, providing knowledge and expertise, to offer advice on their specification and materials.
We also have partnerships with leading builders’ merchants Jewson, Gibbs & Dandy and JP Corry, enabling us to link our services with their product files. These partnerships make procurement simpler for our clients, so that any materials or plant hire for the project can be delivered to the site when needed.
Estimating
Our estimating service is at the core of everything we do and is led by ex-tradespeople, who quote for our clients’ projects as if it were their own. This service is powered by our estimating software, created by Easy Price Pro, who have been developing algorithms for over 30 years to provide the most comprehensive and simple to use platform in the UK. The combination of our estimators and software mean a house can be estimated in one hour, compared with the eight hours it typically takes to calculate the materials, labour and plant hire with margins and an extension in less than 30 minutes!
The build-up intelligence developed into our software means that as the project information is inputted, it automatically recalculates any materials as necessary, ie reducing the amount of bricks required once windows are added in. All of which make it an easy to use program for our clients to compile estimates should they prefer to, and our support team is always on-hand to provide guidance and training where needed.
Our estimating service can be linked with our SAP service, acoustic and air tightness specifications, providing our clients with an all-encompassing quote for their customers and for building control.
SAP
The Build Aviator Standard Assessment Procedure is provided by a team of technical professionals, who have a wealth of experience in field and will help you to create an energy performance specification in-line with building requirements.
Acoustics
From the planning stage, noise can become a problem in a build. “We’re here to support our clients all the way through the process. We can provide environmental noise risk assessments and acoustic design statements to assist our clients with achieving planning permission. We also offer a desktop study service to check your plans against the approved document requirements and provide specification support here too. We can then provide UKAS-accredited testing and noise mitigation advice.
Air tightness
We offer air tightness testing in line with Part L, but it’s not just the testing that we can support with. We’ll also provide air tightness guidance within a compliance support pack and can provide specification consultancy to help you to achieve sign-off.
Registered Construction Details
The Build Aviator Registered Construction Details have been created with and approved by Local Authority Building Control to provide guidance on minimising heat loss at junctions within a building. These details come as standard with the Build Aviator SAP assessment and include a product list for the junction build up, which can be incorporated into your estimate.
