The third biennial PLANTWORX Construction Machinery exhibition will be hosted at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire on 6-8 June 2017
From the 6 to the 8 June the PLANTWORX Construction Machinery exhibition will be held in Leicestershire. The event, one of the largest construction machinery exhibitions, will be hosted by the Construction Equipment Association (CEA) and already has 278 exhibitors signed up. This year will see 74 exhibitors that are new to the event.
Organisers say the event will be 20 per cent larger than the 2015 show, boasting an impressive 140,000 m² of space.
PLANTWORX will showcase the latest developments in the plant equipment sector, with live demonstrations and a nod to new innovative technologies.
The Hub
This year will see a new event arena called ‘The Hub’. This will be located at the heart of the show and will be a place for delegates to step away from the bustle of the event.
PLANTWORX Innovation Award Winners will be invited to exhibit their product in The Hub, and will have the opportunity to be part of the ‘People’s Choice Award’. This will see delegates vote for their favourite product, machine or service.
There will also be a focus on Inbuilt Technology. Delegates will be given the chance to view machines fitted with the latest technology solutions, many of which will be aimed at improving profits and increasing safety.
The Hub will include a section on security and safety, with exhibits and demonstrations from the CESAR Equipment & Registration Scheme for the Construction & Agricultural Industries and CITS (Combined Industries Theft Solutions).
On the last day of the show The Hub will be used to host the Primary Engineer and Secondary Engineer Celebration event. This will see 26 local schools exhibit their STEM engineering projects.
