Rental firm HE Services has revealed it has ordered 50 Hydradig excavators from JCB…
An order has been placed for 50 new Hydradig 110W wheeled excavators. The machines, manufactured by JCB, are used to dig, lift, and load. They are predominately aimed at the highways maintenance and municipal operations sector.
The machine was launched last month and delivers on five key areas: visibility, stability, mobility, manoeuvrability and serviceability. Its ability to be serviced from the ground provides greater safety for operators.
This latest deal between HE Services and JCB was brokered during the Bauma trade fair, which ran between 11 to 17 April. The machines will be supplied through JCB dealer Greenshields JCB.
JCB Excavator Sales MD James Richardson said: “The response to the Hydradig launch has been fantastic and to win a big order so quickly from a very important UK hirer is overwhelming. We have had a sensational response at Bauma to the Hydradig with unprecedented interest levels.”
HE Services chairman Hugh Edeleanu added: “I am hugely impressed with the JCB Hydradig and I see massive opportunities for it in the UK market.
“It’s not often that a truly innovative product comes along but the JCB Hydradig really does break the mould. The fact that it has been developed specifically for modern construction sites will really resonate with our customers.”
The Hydradig will go in to production next month.
