HP announced that UAE-based print service provider, Sadiq, has installed an HP PageWide XL 8000, the company’s first HP printer
Sadiq provides print services and office supplies to 72 technical consulting offices working on construction projects. As the operation is small in size, it is vital that its print solution is compact but prints at high-speeds without compromising quality.
Owner of Sadiq, Sadiq bin Ummer, said, “The HP PageWide XL 8000 helps us to provide a much faster delivery to our customers at higher quality. Furthermore, with lower production costs and the space it saves, it gives us the opportunity to pursue new business opportunities.”
Prior to the acquisition of the PageWide XL 8000, Sadiq operated two printers – a monochrome light-emitting diode (LED) and an inkjet printer. Not only did these printers take up valuable space but Sadiq found that the two devices were far slower than one HP PageWide printer. HP PageWide XL Printers produce both monochrome and color prints at breakthrough speeds up to 60 percent faster than the fastest monochrome LED printer(1).
HP PageWide printers also consolidate workflow to deliver mixed black-and-white and color prints in half the time it would take to manually collate documents produced on multiple printers(2).
“The speed of the printer has reduced both turn around and waiting times on a job with no impact to final image quality. This leads to enhanced customer satisfaction and therefore, higher demand for our services. In addition, the space we now have will allow us to stock more office supplies and pursue new projects, such as providing full service for mounting, laminating or rollups.”
With a maximum linear speed of 23 metres/minute (75 feet/minute), the HP PageWide XL 8000 Printer is 60 per cent faster than the KIP 9900 printer which, at 14 metres/minute (47 ft/minute), is the fastest rated LED printer as of March 2015.
Validated by an internal HP test measuring the total time needed to prepare, print and manually collate a 100-page document with 10 colour pages.
