Gary has a wealth of experience in the construction and regulatory industries, having held prominent leadership positions in both the public and private sectors.
As CEO of Broste Rivers, Gary overseas a pretty unique organisation which includes Hertfordshire Building Control (Local Authority Building Control), Build Insight (Approved Inspector) and the Building Control Company (BC Consultancy services).
He is excited to lead the business into an exciting new chapter of growth and transformation.

Hertfordshire Building Control (HBC) is our local authority building control service, ensuring customers and communities benefit from safe and sustainable buildings.
We foster collaborative engagement with a diverse clientele, ranging from homeowners seeking property extensions to local agents and builders involved in small to medium-scale developments, as well as national construction industry professionals constructing cutting-edge science parks.
This collective effort with specialised plan checking and inspection teams, ensures fulfilment of our primary objectives.

Build Insight – Approved Inspector
Build Insight provides an Approved Inspector (seeking to become a Registered Building
Control Approver – RBCA) service for many clients in the Hertfordshire area, but also those who work regionally and indeed nationally.
We offer a client focused service delivered via a multi-disciplinary team that extends professional services across the construction industry.

In the ever-evolving field of construction, particularly with the introduction of the Building Safety Regulator and the Building Safety Act, we provide a roadmap to compliance via adherence to the latest regulatory standards.
