The Fold, a residential tower in Croydon, has been booked for remediation work two years after completion. The issues to be addressed include a major leak in the roof.
Urban Bubble, the managing group for the building, has stated that residents have been reporting water ingress for months on end.

Legal&General have scheduled the remediation work to begin next month, stating that any apartments affected will not be relisted for rent before work has been completed on the roof and in the apartment.
The tower was completed in July 2022, and Henry Construction fell into administration in June 2023.
Subcontractors under Henry reported that they had not been paid in months, illustrating financial difficulties and raising the question of what corners may have been cut by the firm in its construction projects.
Further illustrating the financial difficulties the firm faced during the construction of The Fold is the nine winding-up petitions levied against them by other parties claiming money owed to them.
Many towers require remediation
The work on The Fold comes as one of many projects requiring attention, as in April Homes England suggested the creation of an official body to oversee remediation work.
The most common required remediation work for towers is the removal of cladding, which run a high risk of dangerous fires such as the ones that befell the Grenfell and Dagenham towers.
As of June, a quarter of these identified towers had had remediation work completed. However, half had yet to begin remediation work.
Residents at The Fold have complained of leaks, and associated health issues including damp and black mould, with residents saying they feel “unsafe”.
