This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Highways Awards – celebrating the best and brightest from across the sector and championing the highways heroes who keep Britain moving.

The Highways Awards were hosted by actor and comedian, Kerry Godliman.

Each year over 600 colleagues gather to celebrate achievements, raise a glass, and celebrate the projects, teams, and individuals driving real change and improving the industry as well as the lives of citizens across the UK.

The awards took place on Wednesday 11 October at Park Plaza in London. Hosted by actor and comedian, Kerry Godliman, the event began with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal, award presentation and networking.

Re-flow joined a line-up of industry giants who sponsored the award categories, including Blakedale, GWH, Highway Care, IHE, Kiely Group, Kier, Messagemaker, Mott Macdonald, Maggie’s, Norse Highways, NWSRG, Shell, Waterman Aspen and clients Conway an WJ.

Re-flow sponsored the Best Use of New Technology Award

This award recognises how technology can make significant improvements to the highways industry. As a rapidly growing tech company whose software aims to improve efficiency, increase productivity and ensure compliance, this award was close to Re-flow’s mission.

WJ won the award for their revolutionary technology, ThermoPrint. Introduced to redefine road marking safety and efficiency, ThermoPrint is an automated, fully autonomous machine that effectively removes the hazardous, manual process of laying thermoplastic road markings by hand.
