Catch up on Bentley’s Year In Infrastructure and Going Digital Awards in Vancouver with a new video retrospective
Bentley Systems recently celebrated their 20th annual Year in Infrastructure and Going Digital Awards(YII Awards) at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, Canada.
The event saw over 300 industry professionals come together to share their insights and experience with AI, digital twins and open source software in the infrastructure sphere- with an extra thousand virtual attendees!
The event hosted expert panels and speakers, as well as hands on demonstrations in the iLab exhibit, where the myriad applications of Bentley System softwares were showcased.
AI, a generational paradigm shift
Chief executive officer Nicholas Cumins kicked off Day 2 of the event with a speech reflecting on the rapid changes seen in the sector over the last year- namely, the ascent of artificial intelligence (AI).
New partnerships and projects were also debuted, including a new partnership between Bentley and Google, an AI-enabled expanded product portfolio, and new updates to OpenSite+.

The event also celebrated innovation in digital infrastructure projects at the awards ceremony, with award categories for construction, enterprise engineering, process and power generation, and many more.
