Elecosoft has reiterated its continued commitment to customer data security as it celebrates achieving recertification of ISO 27001
ISO 27001 is the international standard for Information Security Management.
Securing this recertification shows that Elecosoft is continued to follow information security and data protection to the highest standard, with all their IT systems either meeting or exceeding the latest industry standards.
As data volume increases in the built environment, a third (32%) of UK companies have identified a cyber-attack on their business in the past 12 months, and cybercrime can cost British firms up to £15,300 each year.
Elecosoft already holds ISO 9001 certification for quality management systems.
The certification process provided Elecosoft with an opportunity to complete an unbiased assessment of its security protocols, evaluating threats and vulnerabilities and refining processes for safeguarding customer data.
