Yoanna Ruseva & Francesca Lofiego of ISG, Josh Cole from Jacobs and Alberto Daniele from Multiplex, showcased the impressive benefits of Revizto+ at Revizto’s Field Day event in London
PBC Today recently attended Revizto’s Field Day event in London, on 8th February, where we had the chance to hear all about the benefits of Revizto+ from a selection of their key users.
Rhys Lewis, opened the event with a taste of what we can expect to see from the industry-leading Integrated Collaboration Platform throughout 2022. The integral developments included CDE integrations, a scheduler redesign and importantly ISO 27001 certification.
Reduce time by 50%
The first presentation was delivered by Yoanna Ruseva and Francesca Lofiego from ISG who illustrated how Revizto+ has helped ISG save time and reduce strain on a range of projects.
ISG first started using Revizto back in 2019 and have since deployed it on a number of its fit-out specific projects past, present and future. As a result, amongst other benefits, they have seen a sizeable reduction in time spent on administrative tasks relating to the project.
Some of the benefits Francesca explored were:
- Automated clash detection
- Remote collaboration
- Live issue tracking
- Accessibility for all stakeholders
Revizto for major infrastructure projects
Following Francesca from ISG, we heard from Josh Cole, who is part of the Project Technical Operations team at Jacobs, about how they have implemented Revizto on their major infrastructure projects.
Jacobs used Revizto on its A1 Birtley to Coalhouse scheme in 2020, mainly for its IDCs (inter-disciplinary clash meetings). By utilising Revizto, Jacobs were able to cut the time of the IDCs down to just 4 hours, compared to 3 days.
In addition, Revizto’s visualisation tool enabled Jacobs to successfully complete road safety audits and drive engagement in client meetings and public consultations. Josh and the Jacobs team also used Revizto to coordinate designs more effectively as multiple disciplines are able to view each other’s models in an environment they are comfortable in.
£198k savings made
The next presentation was by Alberto Daniele from Multiplex who highlighted an impressive saving of £198k on their project prelims as a result of using Revizto and also shared how they use Revizto in a number of ways within the Multiplex organisation.
Collaboration in 3D
- Real-time remote collaboration
- Automated Clash detection
- The ability to generate quantity take-offs
Collaboration in 2D
- Design coordination
- Drawing comparison between different revisions
- 2D and 3D information is intrinsically linked
Tender
- 3D tender package scoping
- 2D and 3D coordination
Revizto compliance
Finally, Rahul Shah from bsi – the British Standards group – explained how they have been working with Revizto to ensure the platform is secure, to meet the ever-growing demands of project security by achieving ISO 27001 accreditation.
