Revizto returns to the Capital with Revizto London Field Day 2023, bringing together AEC professionals to learn how other industry experts leverage Revizto’s Integrated Collaboration Platform

Highlights from Revizto London Field Day 2023 are shared in a short YouTube video. First, we hear from Arman Gukasyan, CEO and founder of Revizto, who launched the new Revizto phone app designed for the AECO industry.

Gaining access to a global knowledge base through Revizto

Arman states: “You’re not just buying software, subscription, whatever. You’re getting access to a global knowledge base through these guys.

“The way we develop Revizto is we don’t come and say, “Tell us what we have to do”. We come and ask questions. What is your problem? Tell us about your problem and we’ll come up with the solutions.”

An industry update in information and exchange was provided at the event

At Revizto London Field Day 2023, Emma Hooper, associate director, and head of R&D at Bond Bryan Digital, provided an industry update on information management and exchange.

Emma stated: “My focus over the past few years has been very much looking at how we can join everything up so that we have fewer issues in the future.

“We need to fundamentally change business models and procurement, but that’s a massive task. ISO 96 50 enables the right useful information to be delivered to the right person at the right time and in the right way, essentially de-risking information exchanges.”

Presentations from Revizto’s Canary Wharf contractors were also held at London Field Day

Roman Baron, Canary Wharf Contractors, said: Before we went to search, we knew what we wanted. After a comprehensive review, we decided Revizto is the best product in the market for Canary.”

We also hear from Joseph Mady, CEO and Founder of DCT, who shared his experience with Revizto:

“The only way we did it was because of [Revizto technology]. Because we wouldn’t have been able to get it in. We wouldn’t have been able to get everything out.

“We wouldn’t have been able to build it, and we wouldn’t be able to deliver what the client wants in terms of the information and that type of accuracy without doing it in the way that we did.”

Skanska saw significant productivity improvements with Revizto

Peter Jones, technical and operational efficiency director, Skanska, added: “When I was first shown Revizto, I was blown away. It was the first time that I had seen that 2D overlay onto a 3D model.

“That was a key issue for us because there was some great clash detection going on with other tools on the market in a 3D model or there were some good reviews being done of 2D design drawings.

“We saw great productivity improvements from Revizto. Being able to overlay the 2D joints of the 3D was a key part of starting that journey.”

AEC industry professionals share their thoughts on the Revizto London Field Day

Marta Baron, digital construction manager at Multiplex, shared her experience at Revizto London Field Day 2023: “It’s very interesting to see what all the companies are doing because that is the main idea of collaboration – trying to move all forward in the same direction.

“I was really interested in the presentation from Emma about how all these formats or tools make open collaboration possible. It benefits everyone, really.”

Lawrence Chapman, lead information manager, HS2 added: “The Field Day was positive. 2D and 3D overlay is a real advantage. If we could do that within HS2, I think that’d be a positive thing.”
