What are the benefits of Microsoft documents and VFP integration?
Microsoft documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) can be quickly viewed and edited within the VFP in the browser. On-the-fly live document editing vastly improves the user experience by making the editing of documents quick and efficient.
Collaborate live with colleagues on Microsoft documents within VFP whilst maintaining the same level of control it gives you, from security permissions to workflow review.
Viewpoint for Projects won the 2021 UK Hammers Awards, ‘Collaboration Product of the Year’, for the 11th year running.
Last year, Viewpoint For Projects transitioned to an authentication service for logging into the platform. The authentication service, named ViewpointID, puts VFP users on equal footing across the platform; establishing a springboard for integration across Trimble’s product ecosystem. In addition, customers can use ViewpointID alongside Single Sign-On and Active Directory federated services for better user management.
