As part of a new link established with a university, Go Geothermal was recently invited to speak to people undertaking their Masters’ degree in Business Administration about renewable energy

The company’s operations manager Kevin Donovan-Ritch, and business development manager Mark Pearson visited Teesside University to speak about renewable energy.

They spoke to the Masters’ students about the work of Go Geothermal and the role we are playing in contributing to UK 2050 net zero targets through the sale of our renewable energy products.

Students got insight across a range of sectors

Discussions ranged from Consumer Brand Awareness, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, Organisational Cultures & Structures, and British Values, including Equality & Diversity.

Kevin said: “We had a very interesting discussion with the students, some of whom work within organisations where renewable energy has become an important topic in recent years, such as housing associations.

“For others, this was an opportunity for them to understand how products like heat pumps form a central part of the net zero strategy as we move to the 2050 target.”

Go Geothermal will also be discussing renewable energy in the Teesside University Master of Business Podcast which is being recorded on 30 November.
