Re-flow Field Management joined numerous innovators to share their values of eco-friendliness and sustainability at Futurebuild 2023

Re-flow Field Management, providers of award-winning field management software for construction, attended this year’s Futurebuild 2023 event at the ExCel London. The team was thrilled to join numerous innovators in the industry who share their values of sustainability and eco-friendliness.

Re-flow’s contingent was made up of managing director Mike Saunders, and members of their sales team, Adam Kyffin, Daniel Moyse, and Graham Pardoe. The company has attended this event for several years, given its commitment to sustainability, environmental consciousness, and sustainable business practices.

“I had the opportunity to interview with the FutureBuild organisers as we were within the first thirty businesses to rebook for next year’s event. For them, it’s all about delivering net zero and sustainability with the construction trade, so it was a great chance to discuss how Re-flow’s capabilities can fit into achieving those goals”, said Daniel Moyse, sales manager, Re-flow.

Delivering sustainability at Futurebuild 2023

Futurebuild’s commitment to sustainability was evident throughout the event, with organisers opting for Cradle to Cradle (C2C) certified event carpet instead of the traditional aisle carpet. This eliminated 27,707kg of carbon emissions and the waste carpet that would be left over from previous events, which is their single biggest waste stream. Additionally, the event had ethically sourced catering, recyclable wall graphics, hanging banners, and fully reusable stand systems. Attendees were also encouraged to use public transport or cycle to the event to reduce their carbon footprint further.

Re-flow’s stand featured their field management software, with live demonstrations given by their software specialists throughout the three-day event. They also displayed their new Re-flow branded LEGO figures, part of their new #reflowontheroad campaign, which encourages attendees to customise their own figures and share pictures of them in fun and exciting locations.

During the event, Re-flow had the opportunity to run into some of their existing clients, including Ian Nichols, ECO manager at Wall-Lag, who shared his thoughts after fully adopting Re-flow’s field management software.

“It has taken us away from being a largely paper-based business. With us operating in the renewables arena, moving away from a paper-based office to using Re-flow has really sped us up and made us a lot more environmentally sustainable. It has helped us, and it is helping the environment as well”, said Ian Nichols, ECO manager, Wall-Lag.

The company is committed to supporting the event and its important causes next year. They invite anyone interested in their software to stop by their stand for a live demonstration at any of their future events.
