Trimble announced multiple wins following the Construction Computing Magazine award ceremony

Firstly, Trimble’s Viewpoint Field View solution picked up ‘Mobile Technology of the Year’ win for the second year running at the 2024 Construction Computing Awards, also known as the Hammers.

Field View is helping construction companies of all sizes improve quality management, deliver defect-free projects, and comply with the latest building regulations.

‘Mobile Technology of the Year’

“It’s an honour to win Mobile Technology of the Year for another year running,” said Mark Slack, Product Manager for Field View. “We’re constantly listening to our customers to ensure Field View is evolving alongside the industry.”

In addition, Tekla Structural Designer took home the award for ‘Structural Engineering Application of the Year’ for the 9th consecutive year. The solution gives engineers the power to analyse and design buildings efficiently and profitably.

‘BIM Project of the Year’

Finally, the ‘BIM Project of the Year’ was awarded to Trimble and Kilnbridge Construction Services Ltd for the Gatwick Airport station upgrade. The project involved Trimble Tekla’s modelling software and the Trimble Connect common data environment being used to ensure a DfMA approach with full model coordination.

We were also fortunate enough to come runner up in two categories, ‘Digital Construction Project of 2024’ with William Hare’s 40 Leadenhall St. project and ‘Collaboration Product of the Year 2024’ for Viewpoint for Projects, respectively.

Trimble’s award-winning solutions support stakeholders across the entire project lifecycle, from design to site management, ensuring efficiency and collaboration at every stage.

The awards evening took place on 7 November at The Leonardo City Hotel in London.
The Hammers Awards are one of the UK’s premier honours for construction technology developers and are an opportunity for those working on construction projects to claim recognition for their work undertaken over the past year.

The final results are decided by the Construction Computing Magazine reader base through a voting system combined with the decisions of a panel of judges composed of experts from across the industry.
