Weston Homes has appointed Clare Smithson as HR director to oversee the training and recruitment activities across its five subsidiary companies
As the newly appointed Weston Homes HR director, Clare Smithson will oversee the welfare of 515 employees and drive training and recruitment activities across the business.
Smithson most recently held the role of group head of HR at the Hill Group where she helped the business win a Housebuilder Award for Training or Recruitment Initiative.
More than 40% of senior roles within the Weston Group are held by homegrown talent
Smithson’s role will focus on staff training and development with the 23 new school leavers joining the Weston Group trainee scheme in September 2022.

Former HR director Jane Stock has been appointed as group organisational development director
