T&T appointments to head up natural resources department

Turner & Townsend have made several senior leadership appointments to head up the company’s clean energy and decarbonisation strategy

David Whysall has been appointed as the global managing director of natural resources.

David has been involved in several industry improvement initiatives, including the Infrastructure Project Authority’s Project Routemap and Constructing Excellence, which he co-chairs.

He takes over from Andy Aston, who has started his new role as global head of client solutions for natural resources.

Andy’s new role will focus on enabling key clients to deliver on their strategic programme and major project goals.

Jason Martin has also been appointed as global managing director of clean energy and decarbonisation.

Jason is a chartered engineer with 30 years of experience delivering major projects and programmes across energy and infrastructure.

This new combined team will work across the power, clean energy and decarbonisation, oil and gas, and mining industries.

The company also strengthened its regional leadership through the appointment of
Alan Sinclair and Finlay McLay, who will head up the UK and US teams.
