The Re-flow team recently made an appearance at the UK’s premier event for landscaping and grounds management, GroundsFest 2024
GroundsFest 2024, held between 10-11 September on the outskirts of Coventry, has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s premier events for landscaping and grounds management.
Along with exploring the latest innovations, products, and hands-on learning opportunities, the Re-flow team met with old and new clients alike and enjoyed showing off their field management software in the process. They also won another award.
Insightful talks at GroundsFest
This year’s event featured two talks that stood out. The first, Protecting Pollinators, delved into how landscapers can do more to support pollinators like bees and other insects. The panel explored the importance of incorporating both native and non-native plants into landscape designs, and how careful management can create thriving habitats. When building and maintaining resilient ecosystems – particularly as climate change alters the natural cycles of key species like bumblebees – plant diversity is key.
At Re-flow, they see their technology as an important tool in reducing carbon emissions and helping global companies meet their net zero targets. Aligning with this motivation, the second talk focused on the broader role of landscapers in the fight against climate change. The discussion was packed with statistics and practical advice on how professionals in the industry can make a real impact. From reducing carbon footprints by reusing soil, to avoiding unnecessary tree removals, the talk called for integrating sustainable practices into every stage of a landscaping project.
Re-flow at GroundsFest: meeting clients and industry leaders
The Re-flow stand was a hub of activity throughout the event, with a constant stream of clients, both existing and new, stopping by to chat with the team. Companies like Wildside and Grove Ground Services were among the familiar faces that visited, offering a chance to catch up and discuss the latest developments. Newcomers to the software were equally enthusiastic, keen to learn more about how Re-flow’s field management software could help streamline their operations.
How Re-flow supports the landscaping industry
Re-flow’s field management software offers landscapers an invaluable tool to tackle some of their most persistent challenges. Many businesses in the sector struggle with inefficient paperwork, poor communication, and time-consuming manual processes. Re-flow solves these issues and more by providing a digital platform that allows teams to manage jobs, schedules, and resources more efficiently:
- Re-flow lets users upload job packs, forms, and documents directly to the app, eliminating the need for constant trips back to the office.
- The software tracks equipment maintenance, alerting teams when vehicles or machinery need attention, ensuring everything runs at peak efficiency and lowering emissions in the process.
These features not only save time but also reduce the environmental impact associated with unnecessary travel.
Award-winning presence
Capping off a successful two days at the show, Re-flow’s hard work and standout presence were recognised with the award for one of the best indoor displays.
GroundsFest 2024 proved once again to be an essential event for landscaping professionals, offering a platform for education, networking, and innovation. For Re-flow, it was another opportunity to connect with the industry and showcase how our software is helping businesses evolve in an increasingly eco-conscious world.
