Premier Guarantee has been selected by Caddick Construction to offer warranty inspection services and coverage for a new £35m private rental development in Bolton

Caddick has begun construction on the Central Street residential rental development for build-to-rent specialist PlaceFirst. The project will deliver 167 new homes for long-term private rent, along with complementary commercial units, addressing the demand for much-needed housing.

A range of accommodations will be built

The rental development project is expected to be finished by 2025. It aims to revitalise a three-acre brownfield location between the former Beales department store and the river Croal.

The development will consist of a  blend of apartments and townhouses, offering residents access to rooftop terraces, gardens, pedestrian-friendly streets, and a square and courtyard area.

Premier Guarantee has a workforce of over 450 employees in the UK, allowing the company to comprehensively support clients’ construction projects. The company specialises in providing structural warranty and building control solutions for both residential and commercial builds.

With a track record spanning over 20 years, Premier Guarantee has offered coverage for properties valued at over £57bn throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Operating from multiple offices across England and Europe, the company has established a strong presence in the construction industry.

The project team includes architect Levitt Bernstein, landscape designer CW Studio and engineer Alan Johnston Partnership.

The rental development will focus on energy-efficient homes

“Our team are really looking forward to working alongside Caddick Construction in support of this significant development, providing structural insurance cover that will give owners and tenants peace of mind,” said Premier Guarantee’s business development manager Caroline O’Brien.

“It will be inspiring to follow this project’s progress and witness a town centre brownfield site become a new thriving community of high quality, energy efficient homes and outside spaces for residents,” she continued.

As a vital part of Bolton Council’s ambitious £1bn masterplan, this development aims to redevelop the town centre by blending with the historic character of the former mill town. Through a combination of modern buildings, the project seeks to improve the overall fabric of the area.
