Premier Guarantee expands its awards program to recognise outstanding individuals in the industry, introducing the Site Manager of the Year category to celebrate excellence in leadership, workmanship, and technical expertise
New home warranty and building control provider Premier Guarantee have added three new categories to their prestigious awards programme for 2024.
The annual Excellence Awards and monthly Quality Recognition Awards (QRAs) champion consistently high standards of workmanship, safety and site management.
Three new categories have now been introduced, including the only award to celebrate an individual – Site Manager of the Year.
The new categories are:
- Site Manager
- Volume House Builder of the Year
- 101-150 units Development of the Year
Premier Guarantee Technical Director Sarah Dee Shapland said that she was pleased that more deserving people in our industry can now be recognised for the work they do.
She said, “We are delighted to add three new categories to our Excellence Awards programme, giving developers and their teams even more opportunities to be recognised for the hard work and diligence that goes into sustained quality on-site.”
“A site must demonstrate a criterion of excellence to win our awards. We assess leadership, workmanship, technical expertise and health and safety,” Sarah continued.
“Only a small percentage of our sites will be recognised in this way so it is an outstanding achievement for the site team.”
Monthly acknowledgements for quality excellence in construction
Every month builders and developers who consistently demonstrate quality are awarded a Quality Recognition Award.
These winning sites are then longlisted and automatically placed into their respective category for the chance to win an Excellence Award.
These categories are:
- Site manager (New)
- Volume house builder (New)
- 0-50 North
- 0-50 South
- 51-100
- 101-150 (New)
- 151+
- Social housing
- Major Projects
- Developer of the Year
